The Foundation of Saint Joseph Health System (formerly known as The Foundation of Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center) is the philanthropic arm of our organization that works to ensure our region has a strong partner who will continue to take care of our community.
It is our responsibility to:
- Support initiatives that are driven by our values and focused on doing what needs to be done
- Continue the investment in resources and technology that set the standard for care in our region
- Provide our medical professionals with the support they need to continue high-quality care delivery
Our Foundation directs gifts to the fund designated by the donor. These funds support nursing education, departments of the hospital and our many outreach programs. Some of these programs include:
Our Mobile Medical Unit, a 40-foot-long clinic on wheels. The MMU enables SJHS to meet the needs of individuals who may not have transportation or access to medical offices or clinics. With the MMU, we can also deliver corporate wellness to the doors of local organizations, providing health education and screenings on-site.
Our Pediatric Specialty Clinics serve as a center for children whose conditions require specialized evaluation and treatment. Pediatric Specialists meet with patients and families on a regular, routine basis.
Our Community Health Centers, which provide comprehensive healthcare services in St. Joseph and Marshall counties, and are established to serve our uninsured, underinsured and Medicaid populations.
Our Women’s Task Force, an all-volunteer group of cancer survivors that works with The Foundation to fulfill their mission to promote prevention, awareness and early detection of cancer.
