Dr. Wyncott completed the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program at the John Hopkins University and received his medical education from George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) and now joins the staff at Family Medicine Faculty Physicians.
Dr. Wyncott joins physicians Brian Huber, MD; Jennifer Ludwig, MD; Theodore Neumann, MD; Leah Napolitano Ortiz, MD; and Martin Wieschhaus, MD, who all serve as faculty within the residency program. He is now accepting new patients.
Dr. Wyncott was recently honored with the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians' 2013 Outstanding Resident Award. The award is presented annually to a family medicine resident who demonstrates exceptional interest and involvement in family and exemplifies the qualities of a family physician.
"While we have been fortunate to have many excellent resident physicians pass through our corridors, Dr. Wyncott elevated above the rest through his leadership and communication skills," said Martin Wieschhaus, MD, Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
Some of Dr. Wyncott's other achievements include receiving the Dr. Thomas Dooley Fellow award and the George Washington University School of Medicine Robert Keith Cole Memorial Award for Character & Service, as well as being elected as one of the chief residents at SJRMC and hand-picked by Al Gutierrez, SJRMC CEO & President, to be directly involved with and oversee the development of an outreach clinic.
