SJRMC Purchases XRC Medical Imaging 05/13/2011 SJRMC today announced the purchase of XRC Medical Imaging through an agreement with X-Ray Consultants, Inc. (XRC). The freestanding outpatient imaging center, now called SJRMC-Medical Imaging, will continue to offer imaging and radiology services, utilizing advanced technology, at its present location in the Foundation Center near the intersection of State Road 23 and Douglas Road (53940 Carmichael Drive).

Gutierrez, SJRMC’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “The transition has gone very well and we look forward to building on our heritage of providing quality, compassionate care.”
SJRMC-Medical Imaging is fully accredited by The American College of Radiology in Computed Tomography (CT) scanning, Position Emission Tomography (PET) – CT scanning, ultrasound, breast ultrasound, mammography, and stereotactic breast biopsy. It is also designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.
SJRMC’s state-of-the-art equipment enhances accurate detection and diagnosis of a variety of conditions. Technology has substantially improved the quality of exams, and SJRMC’s facilities have obtained many of the newest and most advanced devices on the market in: Radiology, CT-Scan, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional Radiology, and Mammography. SJRMC specializes in many areas from gastroenterology to cardiology, neurology to orthopedics, and chronic pain management.
SJRMC-Medical Imaging is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5 pm. Patients can request appointments through SJRMC’s Appointment Center by calling 574.247.5400. Patients with orders for general X-rays are welcome to walk in at any time during business hours without being scheduled.
The private corporation of XRC, consisting of 15 Board Certified diagnostic and interventional radiologists, will continue to operate as a separate entity.
