Mishawaka, Ind. (July 16, 2013) - Pamela Henderson has been named Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer for the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) health system
Henderson has served as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for SJRMC since 2010. In this new role, Henderson will act as a strategic partner to Albert L. Gutierrez, SJRMC CEO and President, and the senior leadership team to develop, implement and sustain short and long-term organizational initiatives to position SJRMC for the new era of healthcare. She will oversee the activities of all staff that provide evaluative and analytical consultation to leaders across the corporation on strategy, marketing, business and capital planning.

Henderson brings with her more than 30 years of experience and extensive background in strategy and marketing, in both for profit and not-for-profit sectors. During her career, she has held executive leadership appointments in the automotive, health insurance and hospital industries, including at Ford Motor Company, the University of Michigan Health System and Trinity Health.
Henderson, formerly Kugel, is a 1979 graduate of Berrien Springs High School and received her bachelor’s in Marketing at Michigan State University. She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the Society of Healthcare Planning and Market Development and the American Marketing Association. She also serves as an instructor at the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business.
