Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) is proud to share with you the results of our 2011 – 2012 Community Health Needs Assessment.
Conducted every three years, the research evaluates, through surveys and focus groups, the overall health status of the greater Michiana region, identifies the most pressing health-related needs and prioritizes services relating to such needs.
The findings from this year’s research study highlighted three areas of significant concern by community participants; diabetes, pre-natal care and senior services.
We have already begun to incorporate these key areas of concern into our 2013 through 2015 planning process, and will seek to provide services where assistance is most needed. We would like to share with you the highlights of our plan, and have placed this information at the end of the report.
We are fortunate to community partners who are equally committed to improving the quality of life for all. Here at SJRMC, we will continue to do whatever it takes to build a stronger, healthier Michiana.
