What is My Health Records?
My Health Records offers patients personalized and secure online access to portions of their medical records. It enables you to securely view information about your health. With My Health Records, you can view:

  • Reason for hospitalization
  • Care team
  • Procedures performed during admission
  • Current and past problem list
  • Current medication list and medication history
  • Current medication allergy list and medication allergy history
  • Vital signs at discharge
  • Laboratory test results
  • Summary of care
  • Care plan
  • Discharge instructions

Is there a fee to use My Health Records?
My My Health Records is a free service offered to our patients.

How do I sign up?
Patients who wish to participate will be issued a My Health Records invitation during their clinic or hospital visit. This invitation will enable you to login and create your own user ID and password. You will be asked to provide your email address to complete this process. A valid picture ID is required to verify your identity.

How do I claim my invitation?
An invitation will be sent to the email address you gave during sign up. Once you have received the email, follow the directions on the screen. The step by step process will allow you verify your identity by answering a challenge question and entering your date of birth.  You will then be guided through the process to build your own username and password.

When can I see my test results in My Health Records?
Your test results will be viewable in the patient portal immediate after the results are put into your health record.  The following test results are currently not available to view in My Health Records: Tests indicating Sexually Transmitted Diseases, HIV, Hepatitis Serologies, Pregnancy Test, and tumor markers.

Why are certain test results not shared electronically via My Health Records?
Tests of a very sensitive nature are not released to My Health Records.

Call 1-800-324-8163 to be directed to the appropriate person to assist you.

Can I enter my own personal health information in the My Health Records?
Yes. Under Account Settings, select "change settings with Cerner Health," and select the Health Record tab to add your personal information. This information is for your own reference and will not be part of your hospital medical record. You may share this self-entered information by selecting "Share This Record." To return to My Health Records, click on "Return to My Health Records."

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in page to reset your password online.  You may also call 1-800-324-8163 to request a new, secure password.

Is My Health Records secure?
We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure invitation process, personal IDs and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Furthermore, My Health Records uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption technology with no caching to automatically encrypt your session with My Health Records.

What is your Privacy Policy?
My Health Records is owned and operated by Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center and Cerner Corporation. It is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and e-mail address will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by My Health Records.

I was logged out of My Health Records, what happened?
We aim to protect your privacy and security of your information. While logged into My Health Records, if your keyboard remains idle for 20 minutes or more, you will be automatically logged out of My Health Records. We recommend that you log out of your My Health Records session if you need to leave your computer for even a short period of time.

What do I need to use My Health Records?
You need access to a computer connected to the Internet and an up-to-date browser (such as Internet Explorer).
