Mishawaka

The Surgery Department on the 2nd Floor includes 16 operating suites, each of which is more than 650 square feet. Orthopaedics procedures can be performed in any of the OR’s, and two are specially designated for open-heart surgery.

An innovative flow of air patterns, known as Laminar Flow, provides the new ORs with exceedingly clean air, directing airflow down and away from the patient.

The location of everything on this floor was designed to maximize the surgeons’ time. For instance the surgeons’ workflow is made more efficient by having a central lounge that is in the hub of the department.

Each room is also equipped with LED lighting and state-of-the-art digital sound systems so surgeons can listen to soothing music while performing surgery.

Plymouth

Surgery Department includes four operating rooms, six recovery beds and a large admission and discharge area.

The surgical staff is skilled in a wide variety of procedures, which include orthopedic, obstetric and gynecological, urology, podiatry, cardiology and ears, nose and throat surgery and minimally invasive varicose vein surgery.
