Women's Health Services

The Center for Women's Health emphasizes total breast health to our patients.

Patients will see SJRMC's commitment to the importance of early detection and promotion of breast health with leading edge technology and a highly trained staff. We are proud to be fully accredited by the American College of Radiology.

Screening and diagnostic mammograms are provided through Full-Field Digital Mammography for our patients. Digital mammography images are far superior in clarity compared to traditional analog images, and offer the interpreting physician the opportunity to view the mammogram in a multitude of enhanced ways.

Our Radiologists utilize R-2 Image Checking software, which adds a second set of "computerized" eyes to aid in detecting any abnormalities in the image.

Other procedures performed in the Center for Women's Health include therapeutic cyst aspirations, needled localizations of non-palpable lesions for biopsy, stereotactic procedures and studies to evaluate unusual nipple discharge.
