SJRMC's Sleep Disorders Center to Host "Road to Healthy Sleep"

Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center's Sleep Disorders Center in Mishawaka will host "Road to Healthy Sleep" – an open house and community education event on Wednesday, October 14, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The event is open to the public with featured speaker Julie Englert, RN, giving a presentation and answering questions from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM regarding Obstructive Sleep Apnea and how it relates to diabetes.

Other highlights of the event include touring SJRMC's Sleep Disorders Center; learning about Obstructive Sleep Apnea equipment from Alick's Home Medical; diabetic screenings offered by SJRMC's Diabetes Education Center; and other question and answer opportunities.

SJRMC's Sleep Disorders Center in Mishawaka is located at 60101 Bodnar Blvd. in the Elm Road Medical Campus (located off Elm Road just south of the U.S 20 Bypass). SJRMC also has a sleep laboratory at its hospital in Plymouth.

Equipped with the most advanced digital equipment and staffed with expert physicians, both SJRMC facilities offer treatment for the most commonly diagnosed sleep disorders including: Obstructive Sleep Apnea; Periodic Leg Movements or Sleep/Restless Leg Syndrome; Narcolepsy; Insomnia; Problems with jet lag or shift work.
