Billing procedure

Emergency Department charges are based on the seriousness of your condition and the amount of time our doctors, nurses and support staff spend caring for you. You’ll be asked to sign a financial agreement when you’re ready to leave the Emergency Department.

Other physicians involved in your care, such as the radiologist who reads your x-ray, will send you separate bills for their work.
