Childbirth education classes

It is nice to know you have a network of three hospitals working together to help you prepare for your child’s birthday. At Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, we believe education provides you with the confidence and the tools you need during pregnancy and after your baby is born. You will find the classes to be fun, informative and helpful in removing some of the fears surrounding childbirth and parenting. We recognize and respect that there are many ways of birthing and parenting. We support your right to choose the method that suits you best. We look forward to helping you create a lifetime of memories.

A team of experts

Your professional instructor is a SJRMC team member who has completed an extensive training program. In addition, yearly continuing education is required for all of our instructors. Our team of instructors is familiar with the practices and procedures at each of our hospitals and uses the latest up-to-date videos and written materials to provide you with current information.

• Will my insurance reimburse me for the class fee?
  Fees are due during the first class, and you will receive a receipt. If you chose, you may submit your claim to your insurance company.
