Cardiac Care/RapidScan™
Can RapidScan™ also screen for lung cancer?
As a matter of fact, RapidScan™ is effective in detecting small, developing nodules and dark masses that often prove to be lung cancer in its earliest stages. It picks up images that are usually missed in regular x-rays—especially when people show few or vague symptoms, if any.

Screening for lung cancer with RapidScan™ is just as quick, effective and relatively inexpensive as screening for heart disease. If you smoke now or have smoked; if you’ve been exposed to second-hand smoke or occupational hazards like asbestos, diesel fuel or radon; or if you have a family history of lung disease, you should consider adding a RapidScan test for lung cancer on to your RapidScan™ heart test.
