How do I take a RapidScan™ test?
No special preparations are necessary; you needn’t fast or diet or dress in any particular way. To take the test, you simply lie down, fully clothed, on the scanner bed. Relax. You will not be enclosed in a tight space, since RapidScan™ has an open design. An x-ray technologist will tell you to hold your breath for a few seconds while the scanner is in operation. The cardiologist will read the scan and send your doctor the results. Total test time: 10 minutes. And that’s it. You’re done.
RapidScan™ is safe and easy. It is entirely non-invasive and does not require the use of needles or dyes.
