Pharmacy Residency Program

We are proud to offer two ASHP accredited 54 week PGY1 residency programs, one with ambulatory emphasis and the other with institutional (hospital) emphasis. We believe it beneficial to have incoming resident pharmacists here two weeks prior to the current resident pharmacists' graduation to aid in orientation and to maintain continuity within the curriculum and with patient care responsibilities.

We are also excited to offer our PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Residency Program.  The curriculum of the PGY-2 Program emulates the practice of the pharmacy residency faculty, including patient care, teaching and practice and project management.  These practical and realistic experiences will develop an exemplary ambulatory care pharmacist who is proficient and compassionate in all interactions with patients, learners, and colleagues.

It is hard to do justice to the collegial working atmosphere of our residency programs on paper. One of our strongest and most unique features is that our residency programs coexist with two other programs at the same site. Our Pharmacy Residency Programs integrate well with the Family Medicine Residency program and Podiatric Residency program. There is dramatic educational synergy across all the programs as we strive in our goals of educating each other and providing excellent care to our patient population.

Please take some time to sign our guestbook.  We want to make sure that we don't miss you due to potential changes in recruiting this year:
