Morgan Faanes

Hi! My name is Morgan Faanes and I started as a Podiatry Resident in July of 2018! I graduated from Kent State University - College of Podiatric Medicine in 2018 and University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2014. Go Badgers!!!! I am originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin which is where my thick Midwest accent comes from (and wouldn’t ya know my co residents never let me forget it!). Go Packers!!

I knew soon after I visited St. Joe’s I wanted to continue my education and training here. I was ecstatic to hear they felt the same about me! When I am not at the hospital you can find me outside, walking my rescue dogs Dooley and Hailey with my fiancé Jake. We also love attempting to keep our plants alive and paddle boarding! I love reading and enjoy cooking.

While visiting St. Joe’s as a student it was evident to me the residents here receive training second to none. I knew this was where I wanted to continue to learn and advance my surgical skills. The surgical, medical education, hospital and clinical staffs at St. Joe’s have created an amazing environment and I am excited to be a part of it!
