Last chance to purchase SJHS 2019 House Raffle offers

There are only a few days left to purchase the chance to win a house through the 2019 Saint Joseph Health System (SJHS) House Raffle. Offers can still be purchased through Monday, April 15, unless they sell out before. The Foundation of SJHS has hosted this raffle for 28 years to provide health care to those who need it most.

Offers are $175 each and can be purchased through mail to: Mishawaka Medical Center, PO Box 473, Mishawaka, IN 46546. Checks should be made payable to The Foundation of SJHS. Cash offers are accepted by calling the hotline at 574-335-1525 with an appointment. Only 4,500 offers are sold and 45 prizes drawn, making the odds of winning a prize 1 in 100.

Built by Place Builders, this year’s house is located in the Northbridge Valley subdivision at 54746 Sacramento Meadows Dr., Osceola. The 2,482-sq-ft, four-bedroom home is valued at $350,000. Its ranch-style layout has three bedrooms on the first floor, a great room with fireplace and hardwood floors in the kitchen, laundry room and foyer. The master suite with mud-base shower is on the first floor as well as the laundry/mudroom with built-in cubbies. This home offers granite countertops throughout, two-car garage, patio, 95-percent-efficient gas furnace, covered porch, stone exterior accent and sprinkler system. The finished basement hosts a great room, bedroom, bathroom and area for storage. The alternative cash prize is $105,000.

The SJHS House Raffle 2019 drawing will be held at 5 pm on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Mishawaka Medical Center. Winners need not be present to win. Eligible entries will be certified by Kruggel Lawton CPAs.
