I went in thinking that we were going to discuss whether I needed surgery or not. She came in and started explaining how surgery was going to go. It threw me, but she was wonderful with explaining what was going to happen.

I went to a different surgeon (not from St. Joseph) for a consult 3 years ago for the same issue that brought me to Dr. Han. The exam brought me great physical pain and that surgeon was not listening to my concerns. After that visit, I skipped the surgery and just dealt with the issue. When I got this appointment, I was fearful. Dr. Han has changed my perception. She is totally the opposite of the first surgeon. First, she listened to every concern, question, and comment that I had. She explained things in a way that I could understand. She did not act like she was superior to me because she is a surgeon. She just acted like a person that cares about other people. When she did the exam, she did not cause me any physical pain. I do not want to volunteer for a surgery just to check it off of my bucket list, but if I really needed a surgery, I hope that Dr Han would be able to do it. I would actually be okay with seeing Dr Han on o regular basis as a regular doctor.
Dr Han made my entire experience easier. Very kind, very informative. Loved seeing her.
She was very kind and explained things so I could understand. When I was concerned with some pain I was having after surgery and called. Dr Han called me back in a timely manner.
