Foundation Funds Technology Upgrade for Plymouth Campus

Made possible by your support, the Foundation of SJHS has funded a technology upgrade for the Saint Joseph Health System Plymouth Campus.  The Teledoc Lite 5 is a piece of equipment designed for noisy and crowded patient environments, which will allow remote clinicians and neurologists to be part of the patient care team in both the Emergency Department and Inpatient Unit in Plymouth.

If a stroke victim comes to the Plymouth Emergency Room, specialists from the Loyola University Medicine team in Chicago can be part of their care team.  The next-generation technology of the Teledoc Lite 5 device incorporates advanced technology to facilitate high-acuity situations and support collaboration between a team of remote and local healthcare professionals. The new technology exemplifies our ongoing commitment to continually improve the quality of care in our rural communities.
