I have never been so upset with someone in my.life he acted like we were waisting his time and did not care at all he told us just go back to his primary doctor like he doesn't want to help him at all he never looked at his breathing test he had .treated us like we were stupid and basically in 10 minutes was pushing us out of the room he shouldn't be allowed to see people bedside sucks and thinks he is better than us I have never been treated so poorly
The doctor was very nice. He shared my old and new scans with me and he explained everything together. I liked him very much. I am glad he is my doctor!

He seemed to be curt/contrite with me.Boldly saying that I didn't have COPD.Without giving any other possible reasons why i cough so much. And have shortness of breath.Making it seemed like my pcp shouldn't have even wasted his time on sending me to him!And just to have my pcp do a test every year!That I don't need a pulmonologist!He didn't offer a clue as to why/what is wrong with my lungs!!!!!!I wouldn't tell anyone that I know to see him!!!!

I came in for a second opinion and chose to change from my previous pulmonologist to Dr. Wesenhousen. I could not be happier!

I walked into the building anxious and worried. By the time I walked out I was smiling and had a calm serene demeanor. It made my day! At age 85 I have a great appreciation for anyone who treats us “seniors” with kindness and respect.

Adequate is the word that comes to mind. He did not display any sympathy or concern, but he did an exam and spent time talking to me. It just felt all clinical with no personal interest.

I cant begin to describe in words of how AMAZING the team at Pulmonary/Hospital are. I have very high anxiety and am a high functioning adhd so hospitals scare me but the team everybody made me feel better. They genuinely cared about how i was feeling and were so compassionate towards me and my nerves. I have never experienced that the love that the team who took care of me had. Even the lady who put my iv in (im terrified of needles) she did it so gently and the ladies that were there helping me wake up from anesthesia making sure I was ok. And the anesthesiologist who held my hand and put a cool cloth on my eyes didnt leave my side once until i was fully awake and Dr Westerhausen amazing wonderful compassionate man. I dont know how or who put this team of amazing wonderful people together but thank you from the bottom of my heart.
