Throughout the treatment of my seizure disorder, Dr. Toth-Russell has been committed to finding the most effective methods for reducing my episodes with the ultimate goal of eliminating them entirely. I proved a tough customer but she started with traditional meds, gradually adding newly developed meds in our continual search for the exact treatment. When I suggested Lamotrigine as a possibility, Dr. Toth-Russell was willing to try it, despite the dubious source of my info (a Uber driver who鈥檇 been on it for 5 years without a seizure). Over the last 2 years, my seizures have been reduced to the point that I seem to no longer have them. In short, I can鈥檛 extol Dr. Toth-Russell鈥檚 friendly, professional and effective methods of practice enough.

While I think Dr Russell is very compassionate, thoughtful and thorough in her exams and recommendations, we still do not have a definitive diagnosis. So that is a bit dissapointing. But in fairness, none of the 15 - 20 doctors I have seen over that past 5 years have been able to make definite diagnosis.
