Elizabeth Rodriguez
Preceptor, Clinical Pharmacist – Infectious Disease/Pharmacokinetics
Dr. Rodriguez was born and raised in Los Alamos, a small town in northern New Mexico. She completed her pharmacy prerequisite courses at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC before transferring to the University of Colorado, where she graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2016. She went on to complete her PGY-1 Residency Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI, obtaining her teaching certificate through Ferris State University along the way. After residency, she joined her husband, a graduate student at Notre Dame, in South Bend. She became part of the St. Joseph Health System pharmacy family in August 2017 where she rotates through staffing in the ICU/SICU, Medical/Renal, Oncology, and NICU/Pediatrics areas as well as in the main pharmacy. She currently serves as a member on the Stroke Committee and is the pharmacy representative for the new nurse orientation sessions. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, chasing after her 1-year-old son (Leo), and attending concerts. She also considers herself to be on a lifelong quest for the best banana bread recipe.
