Brian Heckman

Preceptor, Clinical Pharmacist – NICU/Peds 

Dr. Heckman graduated from Purdue University in 2011 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. After graduation he completed a pharmacy practice residency with Fagen Pharmacy/Purdue University in Northwest Indiana. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Heckman practiced in the community setting as an Executive Pharmacist with Target Pharmacy before joining SJHS in 2014 as a rotating Staff/Clinical Pharmacist before becoming a full-time NICU/pediatric-focused Clinical Pharmacist in 2015. Dr. Heckman earned his Indiana Teaching Certificate through Purdue and Butler Universities. He serves on the Trinity Health Pediatrics Clinical Committee, the local Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee and is a part of the local inpatient cystic fibrosis initiative.
